🏮 Shinobi Kid IV A literal "cutscene" from the game??... XD (Sorry for dark humor XD)
So Kagemaru found himself in a dimly lit room, surrounded by shadows and the pungent scent of incense... The figure before him was cloaked in black, their face hidden behind a mask depicting a demonic grin.
Kagemaru could feel his heart racing as he spoke, "Master, I must ask you again... Is the ultimate invulnerability truly attainable?"
The masked one's voice was soft, almost boyish, "No... But a true ninja like you can get pretty close. I have something that might help you..."
Kagemaru bowed deeply, "I am willing to pay any price for such knowledge. My clan is quite resourceful."
The mask nodded, "I understand... As I was saying, I have a special oil for you. You must apply it on your katanas and then mix the oil with your blood by pushing them through the abdomen."
Kagemaru's eyes widened in shock, "W- wait... wouldn't that kill me on the spot!?"
The mask chuckled, "It may sting a bit. You must push it slowly, all the way to the handle. After a couple of minutes, take it out just as slowly. Don't worry, you won't bleed and the scars will vanish within minutes. After that, you will be almost invulnerable for a few hours. Sounds reasonable, no?"
Kagemaru was intrigued, "That sounds like a truly magical substance!"
The mask giggled softly behind its demonic grin, "Oh, it is... I won't be long before you start doing it for pleasure, not just before missions."
