This is still one of my very favourite pics. The nudity is an afterthought, but also expresses a whole lot. Love and comfort is the theme I get, and I adore it. One of my favourite things about it is Mary, believe it or not. It looks like she's whispering something to Erika, and it's like a "Lost In Translation" moment, but I don't know if it's on purpose. I never ask you because I know you're going to say, "I didn't draw her whispering, what are you talking about?" So it's better to keep it as a mystery in my mind. -tbj

I never responded to this. I'm an ass. No, the anthro subject isn't what makes it rank so high. It's the style, for one. You were playing around with a softer style at the time and it's perfectly displayed her. It's the not-cheesy version of the softcore soft filter look. It's also the pose, because you couldn't have picked a better one to perfectly show off the pair. The contrast of skin and fur... The way they are looking each other in the eyes is the keystone of this picture. Their expressions are what elevates it past just porn. It's like a Platonic ideal of porn. The passion, the muscles...
