Actually, I really like the aesthetics of tight-belting, and now to think of it, there should be special training schools where professional cinching gurus guide the trainees through the profess from extreme tight-belting to a full "division by zero" effect, which can be a understudied law of nature where the waist reduces itself to the void and slices the torso in two separate halves after going beyond a certain point of compression. Remembering some of the stuff I drew in the past, I think we already have a lot of options for characters to get into NBM:

1. Torsorcerer "sacrificed his limbs in exchange for levitation skills and boosted potency". This could be occult magic where they sacrifice stuff to the demons. I once had an idea that Asmodeus's throne is made of human buttocks, so maybe that's why XD

2. Wild Fleshsuckers can suck bodyparts off with their magical saliva that dissolves limbs smoothly without leaving a scar. Be careful when taking shortcuts through dangerous caves :D

3. Evil spirits, zombies, or maybe just people affected by Fleshsucker rabies.... a strong urge to get their limbs back, so they go around until they manage to grab someone's flesh, which cures their body and mind at someone else's expense...

4. Some mages practice extreme waist-cinching to attain full body separation and build whole magic schools just for that.

5. Some other mages immobilize their captives by temporarily removing their limbs (what Ramazir did to Nuv).

6. Well, sometimes people are just born limbless/divided... perhaps NBM affects the DNA somehow? 🤔

I know only one being in their world who also doesn't have a midsection, it's Ryoyaellar, the wasped deity who sometimes incarnates in the world as a cute boy named Ry'on, he's wearing a short tunic with a tight rope around his tummy imitating a wasped waist but in fact he doesn't have a waist at all. When uploading pictures there's that narrow psychological point where it can easily get unpleasant and even piss you off... I think a good approach is to work on several pictures, so when uploading something, you're already working on something else, so you don't have to suffer because you're too distracted by a new project :D People's reactions are fun to read but it's the art process that's the most pleasant, as well as world building, characters, etc...

Daz Studio is not bad for making poses but like every other software or tool, it takes 100 pictures before you become fluent with it... The main problem almost every artist has is they don't want to practice the basics, they way to install something and immediately make a great artwork, and if they can't, they give up and stop trying... Just an example, if you play the same video game every day, at first you suck but at some point you realize it got too easy... It's the same point you have to reach in a new software, when it finally feels too easy that means you can finally use it as a tool for making the art you want :D I dunno, I'm just trying to spawn some philosophies on the fly... My point is, you just practice something every day until it gets too easy and that's when you can call it a proper tool.

But the above is hardly about your art by the way, you have a style that is great the way it is! IF you just made A LOT more pictures in the exact same style I think I'd be the happiest person to see them all! I'm always looking forward to new drawings! And I'm definitely not one of those people who talk people into trying "new things" and I'm wholeheartedly against the idea that you have to "leave your comfort zone". I think it's very important to build a comfort zone because then you can start creating really good art...

I like "body magic" when it's more realistic, maybe there should be a subgenre of it... I would call it "high budget body magic" because low budget is when they take a photo and erase a midsection in Photoshop, but here it's more like building a character who actually doesn't have a midsection to begin with, and pretending you're doing a professional work for a high budget movie :D

As for Gu, he worked as a Chinese acrobat, some silly challenge he once did was walking on his hands and eating with his feet for a whole month to boost his flexibility, dexterity and balance... But it doesn't mean levitation is difficult for him, when necessary he's like one of those Shaolin monks rumored to do impossible things, jump over large trees, fly in the air, etc :P

I'm still thinking about it but at least it conforms to the classical RPG battle systems with damage/defense. I was generally against that system for a long time as didn't want to create games where you have to damage or kill any creatures, but I like this new system, I was thinking perhaps the world in the oldest times was enchanted with a curse that if anyone in this world takes another person's life, they themselves also immediately die on the spot, so conflicts in this world are interesting as ninjas are trained to disarm without taking life, brutes are trained to wrestle and take others by force but also with great care, but then they discovered magic that opened a whole realm of possibilities with spells to stun, mind-control, etc. Mages were able to take whole armies into slavery, use them to dominate in the region, until wasping was discovered as a protection against bendimancy, and things got more stable with more mages training to offend, defend and stun each other.

Lichard lives in the castle Skinnirim which can be seen only on this map on the very left in the swamps, but I like the idea that he has a whole dimension. Mages should have more dimensions, that's a good way for mages from different worlds to visit each other, e.g. Ramazir could visit Lichard for some herbal tea and the lich could show him around, his collection of petrified beauties as well as living slaves undergoing all sorts of stretching experiments, enchanted to take more pleasure the more they're stretched, with sweet sexy moaning across the dungeon.

Twistina, formerly Kristina, could indeed undergo some lichification, she was on good terms with Lichard since the very first minute they talked so I think they'll be on the same wave and she'll also get some facial paint. Lichard could introduce her to his apple tea made from apples that can even raise the dead. One such apple is enough to live happily for a whole week and can keep the body forever young and also very skinny but with some pleasant smoothness (see Lichard's pictures). Now, will she want to get rescued? I think she will be more inclined to fight against Nate as an intruder, only after some heavy mental spells she would remember who she used to be and that Nate is actually the prince she was sworn to protect. And she did manage to protect him, in fact, by letting him escape from Lichard, at the cost of getting into Lichard's clutches herself. As a bodyguard, she will stand back on Nate's side but still have feelings for Lichard, so she'd wonder if some alliance is possible between elves and undeads, but it's easier to make an alliance between flies and spiders, so the rest is something to think about later... XD

I like drawn art in general because it has that factor of "something new and refreshing" every time, while 3D looks kinda like the same old thing just going on and on... I wish I could get back to my old drawn art but that workflow was just too stressful for me and also my hand was beginning to hurt when holding a pen, probably from drawing too much every day...
