Nice remake. Interesting to see it go from 2D to 3D. I know an artist who uses 3D as a base, then draws 2D over, have you ever tried that?
Very glad you liked it! Yeah that sounds like a good technique but I prefer doing 99% of the work while in 3D and do very little 2D work just to fix the ugly bits if I fail to fix them in 3D... :3

Honestly I've heard different opinions, some traumatizing ones too like "it's too smooth and uninteresting". But personally I'm very satisfied with 3D, I think it really matches what kind of art I want to make and I'm on Youtube every day looking at 3D tutorials and it blows my mind how much there's still to learn :D
