🌗 Fifty Fifty
Part 2
Life in two pieces! The curse I wouldn't trade for any fancy blessing...Reading Time: about 2-4 minutes
Ever since the armless girl hugged Gu's waist and divided his body in two halves, his magical life under the new curse has been incredibly taxing as he had to spend a lot of energy on keeping his upper body floating just above the pelvis to fake its integrity.
Nothing a monk of his age couldn't handle. Yan Feng Gu has lived a life only comparable to a nine-tailed fox, being born back in 1401 (converted from Chinese calendar).
His body rejuvenates every 100 years because of another lucky curse he gained. His body becomes fresh and young, still his magical powers do not decrease but magic overall is still way more taxing in his younger physical form.
In his oldman form he's miles ahead in terms of magic but the young form is still his favorite, as a big fan of contortion he enjoys the limitless flexibility of this form, comparable to the top-tier contortionists, and he couldn't complain about his beauty.
Gu is cute, refined and well-mannered as a young man, but also has some fleeting touch that a fellow poet once described as an unspoken promise of a sweet kiss between the lines. There's no minister, no merchant and no military man whom Gu couldn't charm in seconds to get whatever he wants.
The only downside of this charismatic form is having to take refreshing naps every once in a while, even more after getting this separation curse that keeps draining his powers like crazy because of having to constantly sustain his integrity to hide his state in public.
Sometimes he'd wear some impossibly shaped corset just to have fun going around people who couldn't comprehend how this young fella can shrink his waist that tight! Well, the truth is, he doesn't have a waist at all, the corset just helps to lower the magical expenses, else he'd have to take twice as many naps!
Luckily, the separation improved his sleep a lot, nothing like sleeping in your own loin, using your own thigh as a cushion and the other as a comforter. Gu sleeps like a baby with a thumb in his mouth, or maybe it's not a thumb... Either way!! It's highly revitalizing and he could fully recharge his energy in less than an hour!
But actually all he needs to do is pass this curse to someone else by touching some part of their body with the strong urge to pass the curse... Maybe he'll do that after a couple more pictures and get whole again :D

I wish I could get back to my old drawn art but that workflow was just too stressful for me and also my hand was beginning to hurt when holding a pen, probably from drawing too much every day... So I'm happy I found 3D at that point, it was like a "lifebuoy" for my drowning art XD Of course in 3D I can't brag about doing any shading by myself, but I'm trying to invest into other things like rescuing the boys from the uncanny valley... XD
I like "body magic" when it's more realistic, maybe there should be a subgenre of it... I would call it "high budget body magic" because low budget is when they take a photo and erase a midsection in Photoshop, but here it's more like building a character who actually doesn't have a midsection to begin with, and pretending you're doing a professional work for a high budget movie :D
As for Gu, he worked as a Chinese acrobat, some silly challenge he once did was walking on his hands and eating with his feet for a whole month to boost his flexibility, dexterity and balance... But it doesn't mean levitation is difficult for him, when necessary he's like one of those Shaolin monks rumored to do impossible things, jump over large trees, fly in the air, etc :P
Given all that, it really made me reconsider when I heard you prefer the 2D way. And of course, your praise of my work really made me blush hahaha I can't believe you when you say you come to my gallery deliberately when you're looking for cute bendy boys xD
Overall, you've given me a very thought-provoking reply that I'm really grateful for. I cherish these occasional correspondences we have via the comment sections xD

Daz Studio is not bad for making poses but like every other software or tool, it takes 100 pictures before you become fluent with it... The main problem almost every artist has is they don't want to practice the basics, they way to install something and immediately make a great artwork, and if they can't, they give up and stop trying... Just an example, if you play the same video game every day, at first you suck but at some point you realize it got too easy... It's the same point you have to reach in a new software, when it finally feels too easy that means you can finally use it as a tool for making the art you want :D I dunno, I'm just trying to spawn some philosophies on the fly... My point is, you just practice something every day until it gets too easy and that's when you can call it a proper tool.
But the above is hardly about your art by the way, you have a style that is great the way it is! IF you just made A LOT more pictures in the exact same style I think I'd be the happiest person to see them all! I'm always looking forward to new drawings! And I'm definitely not one of those people who talk people into trying "new things" and I'm wholeheartedly against the idea that you have to "leave your comfort zone". I think it's very important to build a comfort zone because then you can start creating really good art...
And thanks for your time replying to my comments, I'm always happy to talk about this kind of stuff :3
ie I love how his legs are embracing "himself"...
Now Iam sure I definetly want to see much more of this new niche.
Shifty
So I think he will definitely want to catch up, maybe try to seek some help from his grandson Yasha: "I helped you with contortions, now you gotta help me to git gud in the modern world...." I'm sure Yasha will be happy to teach and guide his hand showing how to best stroke his cock on camera XD "If you want, we can make some videos together, that will boost your views, you'll be making 10 fapcoins per second in no time!" XD
I know only one being in their world who also doesn't have a midsection, it's Ryoyaellar, the wasped deity who sometimes incarnates in the world as a cute boy named Ry'on, he's wearing a short tunic with a tight rope around his tummy imitating a wasped waist but in fact he doesn't have a waist at all. Ry'on is a walking encyclopedia of the world's lore above the (nonexistent) waistline and below the waist he is a horny beast, so if they ever met they'd have a lot to discuss in both of those rooms...
Remembering some of the stuff I drew in the past, I think we already have a lot of options for characters to get into NBM:
1. Torsorcerer "sacrificed his limbs in exchange for levitation skills and boosted potency". This could be occult magic where they sacrifice stuff to the demons. I once had an idea that Asmodeus's throne is made of human buttocks, so maybe that's why XD
2. Wild Fleshsuckers can suck bodyparts off with their magical saliva that dissolves limbs smoothly without leaving a scar. Be careful when taking shortcuts through dangerous caves :D
3. Evil spirits, zombies, or maybe just people affected by Fleshsucker rabies.... a strong urge to get their limbs back, so they go around until they manage to grab someone's flesh, which cures their body and mind at someone else's expense...
4. Some mages practice extreme waist-cinching to attain full body separation and build whole magic schools just for that.
5. Some other mages immobilize their captives by temporarily removing their limbs (what Ramazir did to Nuv).
6. Well, sometimes people are just born limbless/divided... perhaps NBM affects the DNA somehow? 🤔
we need answers xD
i also think itll be funny to maybe see him bandage his leg or something while lying infront of his lower half
I'm pretty sure he needs many answers himself, but I imagine for a 800 years old man it makes him extremely happy to experience new things, like even taking a bath becomes a whole new thing. Luckily in his case being cut in half is a huge advantage and not a disability.
I don't know where to begin honestly. When I like a boy, I like the whole package, head to toes. I mean, let's be honest, I could kiss + make out with Archie's feet forever. Seriously, him shoving his feet in my face would result in an unintentional ejaculation for me. I could also miss Andrzej's Egyptian butt forever. Andrzej and Archie make me happy. Though I have no idea what they are up to these days. Seems like forever since their last appearance in the Yuniverse.
They are both Gods though and I'd do just about anything they ask of me.
Love,
Josh
Hmm, maybe I need to invent some system to keep track of my characters so can see whom I keep forgetting to update, that would also make the art more varied I guess!
I can't argue that they're Gods, after all Gods are imaginary, beautiful, eternally youthful beings with superpowers doing things impossible for us mortals and that description fits most of my boys hahah..
