Dance for Iskander
Bagoas unleashing his imagination for Alexander – flowing like water and bending like a river, his new self-choreographed dance leaves no muscle unused and no joint unstretched, it is based on the use of strength, balance and flexibility to let the king enjoy every little nuance of his lover's body~
First attempt at drawing this quite notorious Persian eunuch, inspired by Mary Renault's book ^-^ In one of the chapters Bagoas mentions he has a few "surprises" at the end of his new dance, even though he's "a dancer and not an acrobat", but it really sounded like he was just being modest XD
Bagoas does not belong to me – he's a historical figure and was directly connected with Alexander the Great (especially at night time) but this drawing was greatly inspired by Mary Renault's book "The Persian Boy", as well as Francisco Bosch's appearance in the movie "Alexander" which influenced my vision of him by nearly 3/4 :3
