Haha yeah, maybe we can call them "nudist pants", so the important bits are not hidden XD Always liked the idea of reverse clothing that hides everything except what needs to be hidden XD

First of all I love the picture, but I also really like this new trend of bigger stories to go with your pics! Your texts have always been a pleasure to read and they make me smile numerous times, I love to imagine the settings and characters you tell us about in these little story bits. So overall, please keep it up! And also, damn this picture is cool. It's a straight 10/10!

Wow, I'm very happy that you enjoyed them! I'll be happy to continue adding stories when possible. Yesterday I tried to put some pictures in my phone and I thought wow they look so boring without the stories next to them...
So glad you enjoyed the picture too! I usually make the picture first and then write whatever it makes me think of XD

I just revisited this post and it's wonderful. This pose and the smooth lighting... The way his chest curves and how perfectly his upper body and legs fit against each other... Sublime!

Imagine the real Sphinx was actually in this pose, maybe one day I'll have enough skills to make a believable fake of it 🤣

I'm loving these characters, especially Nüven! The picture turned out beautifully, I can't imagine what that environment must have been like to set up.
Also, this idea with two stories, one long and one shorter, is very neat! I really enjoyed reading both, but if you're worried about your texts being too long I think it's a really clever idea!

Yeah, the environment took waaaaaaay longer than it seems from the final picture, but whatever, it's in the past now :P I just wanted to see if I could make a really big scene... but it seems I'm gonna need a lot of practice to make it better, and it's too hard to practice such things because it's laggy as hell... :(

Yes from now on I'm not gonna torture people who don't like seeing a wall of text and I'm gonna try to summarize it without making too many spoilers :3 Hopefully it will attract more people to read the story if they know what it's about... I'm so glad you liked this idea!!

The ideas you shared all sound super interesting, I'd be hyped about a little game like that. Actually, I've been thinking about it over the afternoon and I have a few ideas of my own how that setting you described might be turned into a neat game! I don't want to share them here and spam this comment section unnecessarily, but maybe we can talk about the whole idea over DA/discord or something! I think it really has the potential to be a fun project!

Yeah it sounds interesting at first, but if you imagine a finished game it's not as good as the Octafold game. In Octafold I spent only 2 days coding and 2-3 days making all the sprites, but even I myself played the game for weeks. This 3D idea sounds like it won't be possible to make even in a year, the amount of work seems grotesque and the potential playability is questionable... Maybe I'll get back to thinking about it if I ever manage to model a good looking lowpoly character and learn how to animate them, but don't want to think about the game when I can't even do the basics yet 😅

Hahahah, I loved reading the story! I feel like your texts always add so much to an already beautiful and inspiring picture, I would hate if you had cut it any more. The story could have been twice as long and in my eyes it would only have been a lovely extra treat from you!
This reminds me of an old pic you did for Aldric, I think it's called Lou's Birthday? It's one of my favorites of yours and it had a very long story attached to it as well!
In any case, this pic is wonderful! I love all the new 3d assets you can spot here, and the pose/composition is great of course. I always enjoy seeing multiple characters of yours meeting and interacting! And I think Kagemaru might be my favorite among your characters... Him and Nate I guess!
In conclusion, beautiful and highly appreciated work!

I'm very happy you liked it. I'll try to not cut the texts too much, though I'm just worried that reading long and badly written texts must be pain. Personally I like my stories when I re-read them, but whenever I get to read some other authors, I realize that almost every person in the world writes better than me! But hey, now I'm making it sound like there's a competition, which is stupid of course...

It's been a long time I wanted to make bigger scenes in 3D, it's pretty crazy how much resources it takes though. But bigger scenes are always very rewarding, I keep wanting to remake Anthropometry one day or something similar.

Uh, I do not feel bad about it, I'd feel worse if I had to trash all this work... Just the picture isn't as good as my other stuff, I think... But I more and more suspect it's because of the damned grey wall that kills the entire piece 😅
