😍 Helmaphrodite

Beautiful. Using his boobs as heavy barbells to intensify a backfold was the highlight for me! A great idea. And I'm dying to see this lakeboy in one of your future renders!
--Alldenspa
Very glad you enjoyed the idea 😁

β• Boy on a Swimming Buoy

I'm looking at this a second time right now on a much bigger screen and I have a chance to appreciate all the finer details, especially the fingers and the skin texture on the soles of the feet! These small-scale details are incredible, and also that white line in the center of the back! Fantastic.
--Alldenspa
Hehe, thank you so much!! :D
This is incredible! I absolutely love it! The composition is so compact and at first you have no idea what's going on, then you realize it's Marzo so the pose could be literally anything and you start seeing what's going on, theen you get caught by his enchanting face... A wonderful piece, instantly one of my favorites!
--Alldenspa
Thanks!! I had no idea it was that complicated πŸ˜‚

β™ŸοΈ Checkmate

I love this piece. Looking over it, I get the feeling you're trying something new with how you render the face? It has a soft, romantic look to it (romantic not in the relationship sense, but as in the romantic period of art). There's a sensual quality to it that wasn't so present in earlier drawings of Andrzej? Maybe it's the lips. In any case I like it and the bend is stunning, of course.
--Alldenspa
I don't know, I'm working by intuition, never felt like trying to analyze it so much πŸ˜…

🌠 Shooting Star Rehearsal

Oh Yes! That's what I'm talking about! Such a simple composition in a way and still these are the pics I tend to love most!
--Alldenspa
Glad you liked!!
This angle looks best on handmade drawings and real contortion photos, where you can appreciate the artist's style or the person's skills... In 3D it looks kind of boring, like a filler picture, "just another contortionist picture", so need to add a lot of things and ideas to spice it up and make it interesting πŸ˜„

⌚ Waist Watch

This is the first time in all these years where I'm looking at a picture of yours and I legitimately can't tell what kind of crazy bend is going on here xD fascinating!! Yasha really is giving a whole new meaning to these unusual kinds of bends such as neck twisting... Very cool work, as usual! I really enjoy these pictures.
--Alldenspa
Yeah, because the twist is so extreme and unusual that it's impossible to find a camera angle where it looks readable, in the end I decided to keep the angle where it looks kinda funny instead, but the pose is just impossible to understand unless you know what he's doing :P
I'm very glad it was still fun to look at :D

🎸 Bendy Rocker

Really cool! Loving the composition and this new character! I already caught myself imagining what else we might see him do in the future, I can't wait to see more of him! His exposed torso is so exquisite...
--Alldenspa
Very glad you liked him 😁 I also can't wait to see in what other ways he can bend it and his "rehearsals" in the yoga class XD

πŸŒ— Fifty Fifty

I too thought it was a bend at first!! And then I realized what was going on. That's so clever! Also, if I'm seeing it correctly you painted in an effect on the legs to make them look more painter-y, that's a very nice touch. It makes the piece unique, like an oil painting. Beautiful!
--Alldenspa
I guess contortionists are often told they look like two people on top of each other, now a guy made of two separate halves is told he looks like a contortionist XD
Thanks, I used a brush there just for fun :3

I had to follow up on my previous comment because what you wrote really, really made me think... Not in a hundred years would I have expected that you prefer traditional, drawn art to 3D renders! Now that you've explained it I can see why, but it never even occured to me. When I work on big drawings of my boys I always think about how much work it is to do it all by hand and how it's not worth it to spend so many hours making a picture that people look at for 20 seconds and then expect the next pic four days later. I long to finally make that step you've made, moving from hand-drawing to using 3D models - Not necessarily doing full renders, but using a 3D renderer like Dav Studio as a base and then painting over it in places like you've done many times. I feel like it's almost childish and irresponsible of me to not put all my effort into learning 3D and finally make that step, given that the resolution of the drawing, the anatomical correctness, the lighting, the textures, virtually everything benefits massively while at the same time reducing the amount of work it takes.
Given all that, it really made me reconsider when I heard you prefer the 2D way. And of course, your praise of my work really made me blush hahaha I can't believe you when you say you come to my gallery deliberately when you're looking for cute bendy boys xD
Overall, you've given me a very thought-provoking reply that I'm really grateful for. I cherish these occasional correspondences we have via the comment sections xD

When uploading pictures there's that narrow psychological point where it can easily get unpleasant and even piss you off... I think a good approach is to work on several pictures, so when uploading something, you're already working on something else, so you don't have to suffer because you're too distracted by a new project :D People's reactions are fun to read but it's the art process that's the most pleasant, as well as world building, characters, etc...

Daz Studio is not bad for making poses but like every other software or tool, it takes 100 pictures before you become fluent with it... The main problem almost every artist has is they don't want to practice the basics, they way to install something and immediately make a great artwork, and if they can't, they give up and stop trying... Just an example, if you play the same video game every day, at first you suck but at some point you realize it got too easy... It's the same point you have to reach in a new software, when it finally feels too easy that means you can finally use it as a tool for making the art you want :D I dunno, I'm just trying to spawn some philosophies on the fly... My point is, you just practice something every day until it gets too easy and that's when you can call it a proper tool.

But the above is hardly about your art by the way, you have a style that is great the way it is! IF you just made A LOT more pictures in the exact same style I think I'd be the happiest person to see them all! I'm always looking forward to new drawings! And I'm definitely not one of those people who talk people into trying "new things" and I'm wholeheartedly against the idea that you have to "leave your comfort zone". I think it's very important to build a comfort zone because then you can start creating really good art...

And thanks for your time replying to my comments, I'm always happy to talk about this kind of stuff :3
I love the idea. Absolutely love it, and not even in a thirsty way. As we discussed earlier I was working on a little pic of my own going in this sort of direction, but it's just a small doodle compared to these elaborate renders you're presenting. Great stuff, thank you very much for sharing!
--Alldenspa
I'm very glad you enjoyed it!! I actually much prefer your works because they're drawn, cute, and you have great and sexy characters! I like drawn art in general because it has that factor of "something new and refreshing" every time, while 3D looks kinda like the same old thing just going on and on... I'm always checking your gallery whenever I get hit by that specific urge to drool at some hot boys in extreme poses :D

I wish I could get back to my old drawn art but that workflow was just too stressful for me and also my hand was beginning to hurt when holding a pen, probably from drawing too much every day... So I'm happy I found 3D at that point, it was like a "lifebuoy" for my drowning art XD Of course in 3D I can't brag about doing any shading by myself, but I'm trying to invest into other things like rescuing the boys from the uncanny valley... XD

🏫 Benducation

I'm absolutely enchanted. You know me by now and how much I love this fantasy of "casual" contortion, far away from performances or showing off and more along the lines of it simply being weaved into the contortionist's daily life. After all, we all have bodies, right? And they're used nonstop all day. It's only natural for someone who cares about going past the norm when it comes to being able to move their body, to incorporate that naturally into the way they move and act, especially if it's associated with a pleasant sensation! I simply love the picture, an excellent work! So evocative, and Yasha is simply gorgeous.
-Alldenspa
Yeah it's great to think of bendy ways to do casual things and guess there's no end to the possible ideas! Can make for a great distraction if the stretch is outside the comfort zone, so can do some casual activities to be able to sustain it for way longer and sometimes even forget how much you're twisted when distracted by some book, lectures or stuff on phone or even music. Of course nothing beats video gaming while tugged into a pretzel or any other fun challenge...XD

Very glad that you enjoyed the picture!! Yasha sure can't afford losing to his rival-boyfriend, no way he'd let that brat start bragging about getting ahead of Yasha in something because then he'll never shut up about it! :D

πŸŒ— Fifty Fifty

This is incredibly interesting, I was thinking just recently about a similar idea! The 3d rendering technique makes his body look so damn good in that tight suit, I can barely stand it hahah! Absolutely stunning!
--Alldenspa
Guess we have similar thoughts lately, you of the extra pair of arms and I'm of the lacking waist πŸ˜† I'm super happy that you enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing your idea if you're still up for drawing it! 😊

πŸ’ͺ Belted Wrestler

I'm stunned! He was always one of my favorite chars of yours... The way the rimlight peeks around his body is wonderful, and my oh my those muscled legs-- extremely hot! In my eyes, a beautiful masterpiece!
--Alldenspa
So glad you like him! :D He is an elf which means he's got some regeneration powers, as well as inborn hypermobility in the joints and spine, but similar to how some elves are raised in barbarian tribes, he was raised in a ninja clan, so his muscles were also polished to perfection, which is not the norm for elves :3

😺 The Legend of Spineless Jack

Such a great feature of this lovely character, I'm enchanted! I've always loved this pose... Made my evening to see this posted! The lighting is beautiful too, Great work!
---Alldenspa
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! If only contortionists were so highly valued by kings and princes, I bet the world would be very different... Imagine paintings and sculptures of bendy youths as you walk through the palace of some ruler, or legends of simple peasant boys who gained a high status thanks to their unusual hobbies 😁

πŸ’ͺ Ruppel Pushups

I'm liking this version even more than the other, the perspective is so GOOD! And somehow I'm enchanted by his chest muscles I can't take my eyes off them! Wonderful.
--Alldenspa
It's amazing when bodybuilders and athletes get into backbending, contortion always adds so much on top of already amazing bodies! I always loved to work on muscled characters but somehow I always need a kick to do that, and in this case our conversation gave it to me, so I'm glad you also enjoyed the result of it! Always eager to see new pictures of your own guys! :D

☣️ Anna Starfall

I'm sad to hear your previous post wasn't well received, I for one really liked the throwback to your older style. And this new one is just as elegant! I sure hope you're not being discouraged from drawing traditionally (in 2d) now that your 3d renders have been so successful... Personally I find all of your work to be very instructive for my own art, and especially the 2d drawings since 3d rendering is still too advanced for me and I can't really pick anything up there...
In any case, Anna sure is an intriguing character! Putting her own twist into contortion by going even beyond what the "healthy" body's range of motion is meant to be, huh? Certainly exciting!
--Alldenspa
I'm very glad you like my works, but for the old style it's best to look at the hundreds of old pictures, I guess... It's a bit too demanding after all and my health is far from perfect after these 20 years of making so much art, often for hours a day, on top of an already stressful job, so I better try to find ways to make art that don't ruin me further... 3D is a good compromise that's easier on my system but I can still add some painting to add more life and soul to the picture.

Hmm, going beyond the healthy range of motion sounds kind of creepy but I guess not creepier than my own description XD I just thought she could kind of dislocate something harmlessly to try some whole new ways to contort but didn't mean it to sound like self-abuse or anything...

πŸ›€ The Flexorcist

I can't believe what I'm seeing! I already loved Yan Feng Gu as a character but this just topped it off for me, absolutely wonderful art and text! The elusive jelly demon... How I'd love to meet him one day hahahaha! Actually I remember the first jelly demon picture you made, it was one of my first favorites of your artworks!
Also, this is very interesting for me personally because I was planning to do a picture with a very similar pose myself! How curious, what a coincidence! I had thought about this kind of "oversplit with the back leg interlocked under the other" for some time now, seems you beat me to it!
Absolutely wonderful work, I'm loving it!
--Alldenspa
I'm so happy you like this fella! Indeed how fortunate would be to meet the jelly demon after already being an advanced contortionist! Yan Feng Gu is just the right guy for the career of a flexorcist, not only doing his job so carefully but also being incredibly lucky with opportunities or at least knowing the most 'lucky' places to go :P

Haha! But I'd love to see a similar pose in your athletic style! :D (also it's already been done in Helmut's Daily Bend July 2021, so nothing new here)

πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ Cum Position

Another stunning work, this one is sure to become one of my absolute favorites of yours. So beautiful! I so love this extreme variant of the ruppel bend <3
--Alldenspa
Really?! I'm so glad, because I thought it was almost a failure because the lighting didn't turn out as good as the other pictures... But I enjoyed the hair and this fully nude pose too much to trash it... So glad the picture is good in your opinion! 😁

🐰 Fold the White Rabbit

Even with how much I adore your flexible characters and how infinitely bendy they are, I was very surprised and touched (in a positive way) to read that there are still differences in how far each one can bend. This idea that Leslie is being inspired by Helmut and Nate to train hard for the pose those two can already do is so sweet and adds, in my opinion, a lot of depth to these characters and their relationship! In recent time all of your characters seemed to have simply unlimited flexibility and while I love that and celebrate it, this other tone of them reaching limits and pushing themselves is also very intriguing. Thanks so much for these two cool posts!!
--Alldenspa
Well, the situation is that I basically start the software and do whatever random stuff until I can find a good direction that feels interesting and leads to a good picture... So to put it bluntly, all my pictures are "random"... But in stories I can use the fact that one picture was finished earlier than the other, in this case Helmut "did it first" and Leslie here seems less extreme than what Helmut did, not because he can't get the feet down but because the bare feet on top of his head look so cute XDD But in the story could say that he's still training to get them all the way down, haha... because why knot.

🎈 Marzo's Story

I'm blown away by these recent pics! Your takes on this "accordion" pose are incredible!
--Alldenspa
Thank you so much! 😊
