Yay! Amtril! It was certainly a long time since he made an appearance. And he has a headband of flowers just like many have here at summer solstice celebration in Sweden. Beautiful!

Thanks a lot! :) To my knowledge, Tolkien swiped all his elf inspirations straight from Norse mythology, making them look like your average Scandinavian guy, so I think it's fair for elves to have more connections to Nordic culture.

It's amusing though, how muscle-flexing vikings ended up as lithe and daintily-manicured elves in his stories. Not that I'm complaining, if all armies were made up of gymnasts and ballerinas who conquered countries by blinding opponents with their fancy moves and making people choke on tears of joy - yep, that sounds perfectly ok.

Finally got a chance to see this work of art on the big screen. In my opinion, it is definitely one of your best works in recent times.
The location, the rock, the forest, the sunlight, the pose - everything is perfect.

The triumphant return of Amtril, whom we haven't seen for half a decade! He is so good that Yasha has a reason to think about what to do to keep the first place on the podium.
