Another human being lost their job today. A janitor at a local supermarket in China was replaced by a vacuum-cleaning robot. The family of the twenty seven year old man had received no warning or compensation, and this pattern is continuing at alarming rates across the globe. People are losing hope as they struggle to keep up with robots in every field, from music and education to healthcare, construction and security. If the current trend continues, even I might be out of a job soon.

The robot uprising has been finally contained. The military has regained control of all major cities, and life is promising to return to normal soon. We have lost most of our resources, technology and, unfortunately, many brave souls along the way. It is estimated that about 20% of humanity still survives. As for me, I am recovering well and looking forward to rebuild, stronger than ever before!

My father is an ordinary farmer here in Nebraska. But he told me one thing: machines are nothing but pieces of metal without the blood, sweat and tears of people who drive them. These robots, too, are nothing but trash without the external power sources they depend on. But what about our own depleted soil and the last few animals left in the farms, I asked him? He...he cried instead of answering. I've never seen this man cry even once since I was born.

I lived in Los Angeles for some time, working at a big company before their A.I. went bonkers. Back then I was filthy rich, being only 27 years old and thinking about retiring comfortably by 30 so as to never have to work again. Now I am 28 and I haven't eaten anything besides human flesh for the past two months. Every day we pray to God for salvation as our prisons become increasingly scarce, and lately we try to spare them as much as possible, taking only one limb at a time. But we hope deep down that Christ will not abandon us and that He will send more angels our way soon.
