The Crown

King of the Britains, defeater of the Saxons... XD

When Arthur was a boy, he lived together with his older foster brother Kay whose goal was to become a knight and as a matter of course Arthur's goal was to become his squire.

It was an old tradition that squires should be good at jestery, dancing and acrobatics so that they could entertain their knights by the campfire during the times of leisure. So while Kay practiced with his sword, Arthur (better known as just 'Wart' at the time) would do his stretches in the backyard of their old castle.

That's how he spent his boyhood before one day he pulled a sword from a stone which made him teh king of Britains. The good thing about it, after he became King Arthur, he didn't need to hire a royal jester since he could pretty much handle the job all by himself :D

So yeah... should we call this pose "the crown"? XD I guess so! Except I have no idea where I got this crown symbol from, it's certainly not the British crown I know, but it worked so well :3 The blue/white color scheme also doesn't really have anything to do with royalty, but I think it matches his eyes :D

And the Britains didn't know the king was going to be so young, so he still has to grow into these clothes XD

Oh and contortion-wise, people often fake this very pose a lot, just laying on the bed and getting their friend to lay behind them and pretend that the friend's legs are their own. In fact when this pose is done "for reals", it really shows a lot of skill, since even being able to put your chin next to your own feet is quite an athletic achievement, requiring a good back and a lot of yoga exercises. But to raise the chest all the way up there, it really takes a very healthy body which is trained for hours every day. So in a way, it's truly a royal position, since very few people can do that even among professional performers. Either way, I really hope he looks one piece here and not like a fake :D
