Oiled up for Bending

Long story short, Rouge is a musician involved in the French synthpop band L'étrange Mélange for which he is the composer; on the stage, however, Rouge turns into a dancer, specializing exclusively in the complex acrobatic moves, involving the most dramatic bending of his own body. His contortionist abilities come from the fact that he was born in a circus family, his mother being a contortionist, so he had to spend his entire childhood preparing for the career of an acrobat, however, when he was about 17 he ran away from home, joined a break-dance gang and later got really interested in composing his own music, at the same time inventing his own contortion acts.

About a year later, he founded a band together with two other musicians. Thanks to the unusual performances and Eric's unique talent, the band quickly became world-famous with hundreds of fan clubs sharing Rouge's songs as well as photos and videos of his flexible stunts.

At the age of 19, Rouge was awarded as the most flexible person of all time. The award was rather saddening, since for the first time Rouge realized he was already standing on the top of the pyramid, which practically meant the dead end for any further improvement. He needed to make the final jump to get just a little bit higher...

Sebastien has always been by Rouge's side since they were kids, unlike Rouge he got really interested in magical tricks and at his young age managed to become a world-class magician. Seeing Rouge in such sadness after reaching the peak of his abilities and being ready to give up at any moment, Sebastien suggested that Rouge finds something completely new and fresh that would compliment his flexibility and make him even more amazing – more precisely, bodybuilding. After thinking for a minute, Rouge laughed and jumped on Sebastien's neck, pulled him close and they shared a long French kiss...

Yes, unlike Rayn Hadley, Rouge never tried to roleplay a lesbian, Nirvana's "Rape Me" being the only "metal" song he liked, he'd often whisper the lyrics to himself while sitting in the local cafe and watching after this or that handsome representative of his own gender, and he once even covered the song during one of the live shows. But all that faggotry aside, it was decided that they both take a 3 years break from all kinds of public performances and wholly dedicate themselves to training and working on the new joint show. The joined efforts eventually ended up in a homosexual wedding of two male celebrities, with a honeymoon somewhere on a tropical island, where they later decided to stay for the entire training period. Rouge asked Sebastien to call him by his real name – Eric – from that point, he also got back from red to his original blond hair and stopped cutting it, planning to let it grow down to the middle of his back to develop a whole different style by the time of their return.

Getting strong while staying just as flexible actually happened to be very easy thanks to Eric and Sebastien's inventive minds. For example, instead of laying on the back to lift the weights, Eric would lay on his belly, then bend backwards, rest his shoulders on the buttocks and start from that position instead. Working on the muscles of the legs could also be easily done while resting in a backbend. So there were only a few exercises he couldn't do involving his flexibility, while all the other exercises were only improving his bending abilities.

It was made a rule to take a dozen photos every week for historical purposes as well as to see what muscles need more work. But since most of the photos were done in the nude, it was a bit too distracting to be able to really analyze the progress. When Eric's muscles grew significantly, a series of photos was taken with him doing contortions while wearing only a little thong to show off his renewed body, they were then emailed to the Eric de Beaumont fan club in Paris, along with a letter thanking all the fans for being so patient and promising a great new show. The photos created quite a furore and were immediately published in several big magazines, one of the photographs featuring as the picture of the year.

Phew. It sometimes takes almost an hour of typing just to explain where the picture comes from O_o;

Anyway, all of the above is just a fiction based on our chats with Truhania who is Rouge's official godfather and was actually the one to come up with the whole bodybuilding idea. I just wrote it down in a form of a bio to bring some parts together and add a few details.

The stuff on the mat is oil since I figured he first got himself oiled up and then did the handstand, not the other way round xD
