The Prince of Splits

Once upon a time, there was a young prince named Albent who lived in a grand palace. He was known for his adventurous nature throughout the kingdom. One day, while watching his jesters perform their acrobatic stunts during one of the royal events, he got mesmerized by their flexibility and how they could stretch their legs and slide them completely apart on the smooth floor.

The elegance of that move touched the prince and made his heart pound. He found it fascinating and challenging at the same time and since that moment he couldn't stop thinking about learning to do that himself.

Very soon the whole kingdom knew about their prince's love for stretching. The prince never hid his passion, very often he would apply a jester's makeup and mix with the rest of the jester troupe. That was specially effective when entertaining foreign guests, it never failed to surprise them that one of the jesters was prince Albent himself!

But Albent wasn't just a trickster at heart, he had way bigger plans for his passion. Every morning he exercised to be able to stretch his legs further and further, until he learned to do a handstand and spread his legs to the sides without assistance. The motion range of the prince's body was phenomenal, but Albent had no plans to stop there either...

Perhaps it was his royal blood playing, the desire to conquer it all, but his greed for more flexibility was certainly unstoppable. After doing the handstand and spreading his legs aside, he asked his jester friends to try and see how far they could pull his legs down toward the floor, while the rest of his body remained in a handstand.

It was the beginning of a long struggle. Every morning Albent would wake up early to have an extra hour to stretch his legs some more. After waking up, he refused to dress up and have breakfast until he felt he had stretched enough. Working out in the nude felt so great and let him really feel the muscles and joints, as well as save his clothes from getting torn apart during the incredible stunts.

This regimen began to show the results fairly quickly. With someone's help, Albent could already touch both feet to the floor while doing a handstand, but his personal goal was much more ambitious – to put both of his feet together, almost as if he was standing normally, except his legs would be stretched to a seemingly impossible angle!
