When I was young and played Street Fighter on the Super Nintendo, I always thought that Cammy was a boy. I had some very strange feelings towards this cute boy on screen and played him at every opportunity (guess who turned out to be gay later!). Then the next generation of games came out (and my family finally realized I seriously needed glasses) and I found out that my boy crush was actually a girl. I was so happy to see this piece when you posted it up back in the day, because it brought my early fantasy back to life.
Thank you so much for the comment! Yeah I can totally imagine taking those SNES sprites for a cute boy, given the broad shoulders and overall proportions. I'd go with Cammy being a cute boy any day, specially if he had a story behind that appearance, that'd be an amazing character who'd easily beat Bridget (an actual cute boy fighter from another game) in every way!

I knew she was a girl because of some magazine cover that I saw before I got to play the game... but she definitely had that kind of vibe, I tried to look up some genderbent Cammy fanarts but back in the day I couldn't find any, so had to draw it myself 😏
