🦩 I Am A Boy Whose Knees Can Bend Backwards Without Breaking
I am a boy born with a rare condition: my knees can bend incredibly far backwards. Normally, that's completely impossible, but I have double hyperextension in both knees, which allows them to move beyond the normal range of motion.
Although from the outside I look completely normal and can walk normally without giving anyone any indication of what is different about me, when I actually stretch my legs, you can see exactly how far my knee joints can bend.
With the help of my trainer, I have been able to improve my flexibility even further, and now my knees can bend even more than they did when I was a child. I train daily by jogging and playing sports, so everything stays healthy and strong, but for about two hours every day I stretch my knee joints as much as I possibly can to improve my unique skill even further!
I absolutely love my super-flexible legs! My goal is to be able to bend my knees back so much that one day I will be able to touch my thighs with my toes! The feeling of having your knees bend backwards to such an extreme degree is indescribable, everyone says it looks like something out of science fiction or some superhero movie!
It took me a while to think about where to show off this talent of mine. I considered joining a breakdancing team or a circus to use my strange ability to entertain people and make a career. But in the end, my passion for sport led me to become a male rhythmic gymnast.
Being able to bend my knees backwards gives me a lot of control over my body during jumps and pirouettes, allowing me to perform very difficult moves in gymnastics. While the leotard helps showcase my legs in all their bendable glory. I've always been fascinated by the way leotards looked on girls and I was a little envious, but now I finally get to wear them myself at practice and competitions!
I also enjoy taking pictures and videos for my social media accounts (Insta and YT), sharing my life story with the world and seeing people's reactions. Sometimes we don't realise just how special we are until someone else sees us differently.
I wonder if he'd be able to hyper extended his knees in the opposite direction, an extreme version of vamadevasana or bhekasana, with the knees bending 270° (or even further) backwards!
Really beautiful. Giz199
