Haha, yeah, it's actually an anatomically incorrect twist, I think irl it's mostly the shoulders that are doing the twisting and the ribcage turns maybe 90-100 degrees at max, but I tend to enjoy exaggerating things when possible 😛

ive been enjoying your art for years now and even with some of your thematic and stylistic switch ups ive always come back and im still loving your art and can identify with it on so many levels.

the first posts i saw were actually about your limbless characters because im a quad amputee myself and then through scrolling i found all of your other stuff which because of my hobby and passion for contortion i obviously enjoyed as well.

i know i speak for a lot of people when i say that it would be insanely sad if you were to ever stop doing what you do because the passion shows and we all love you ^^

Thanks so much Joy! So great to find other fans of dislocations...or rather be found by them XD Anyway, I've always thought it was a bit too much to enjoy for most people, so getting a comment about it is quite refreshing! :D

Recently I've been thinking how to do some more artistic stuff with dislocations and maybe try some 180 degree neck twists 🦉💦 Just trying to come up with ways to make it look elegant rather than an accident hahaha. Maybe a witch who has an owl companion that shapeshifts into a person but has a few unusual quirks.. 😏

I've always thought that bodysuits could be seen as some kind of formal attire for professions involving flexibility. Like how we'd expect camo on soldiers or suits on politicians... But I won't object if contortionist choose to wear leotards to give a clearer view of their amazing poses! 😁
