Circus Girl
Geez... circus is full of really cool kids if you ask me ^.^ Most of them are still training in the backstage, so you'd never actually see them unless you run off to circus yourself... ^_^;
Anyway, this is Rouge's mother, Freia, when she was herself a young girl :3
What do you think? 😄
like!
Thanks!
Nearly two decades and still my favorite. Old school is so heartwarming! I could swear her name was spelled with a 'y' though.
I'm very glad you still like it 🥰 I don't see what is "old school" about this, it's just certain software that was available back in 2005, everything else is the same 🤭
Oh technique-wise, no doubt - I think I mean the concept; an old-school circus artist poster capture...
It's easy to fall in love with all the luscious bodies and the incredible performances that they promise; but this is the only piece that really captivates my romantic side, as if somehow the "contortionism" idea fits it better than others. Freia seems more flexible as an idea because she is less flexible as a person, and that's relatable to me.
I remember picturing a scene of a circus kid trying to ask the circus girl on a date (trying some very clumsy attempt to impress her with a flower) but she is stretching to face the opposite direction (charmingly resisting his inopportune courting) and the caption/title only reads 'inflexible'.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
