I love this piece. Definitely darker and far less playful than the Hardwood Goblin. The gruesome miscellany in the background is a great touch, especially that backbending skeleton. The shadowy figures and the dark, foreboding lighting makes the flesh stand out in an alluring way.

I just keep thinking what Stefano's witchcraft studies must look like but considering he has a huge emphasis on contortion, he must probably study the skeleton to understand how the backbone works, etc. Maybe with a bit of necromancy he could raise from the dead that boy who was part of a circus troupe but died in an accident, now there's only a skeleton left of him but thanks to Stefano he can enjoy contortion once more, while Stefano can study contortion "from the inside" long before x-ray was invented 😜

Indeed darker not only in colors. Marzo's pose is main event here, never seen quite this way - torso fully twisted like glass hours of sorts. I do like, that he is obviously enjoying whole situation as if his "cold" body finally felt something interesting, maybe even "hot" and new. +Stefano is as enigmatic as always :)
Darker themes... I did really lot of work on Lichard's "fan fiction" story several months back it had some interesting ideas and passages, but now I myself don't feel like finishing it anytime soon because some parts might be too much... and it is pity because maybe someone might like it.
So yeah I think I understand how hard it must be for Yuni, to balance similar images to be original and more on darker page, but not really "bad spirited". I am for any twist as long as there is "happy" ending... . And my precious fat is my own, nobody is getting any of it :-D
