Foldschool Bender

You are not the first artist with whom I am familiar who has reached this point with his use of AI. Like any tool, it has its limitations and while AI is learning there will be improvements, though I suspect it will be some time before creators' thoughts can be applied in detail, without the tug-of-war currently part of the experience. Love seeing the 'old' style resurface, and I will continue to enjoy your realistic AI work, as well. KJ
I appreciate your perspective! AI is indeed a powerful but imperfect tool—it opens new possibilities but can also distance you from the hands-on joy of creation. That’s why I’ve been revisiting my older style lately; there’s something irreplaceable about the direct connection you get from drawing things manually, especially details like faces and hair. I’ll keep using AI where it feels helpful (it’s great for certain effects), but I don’t want to lose the ‘human’ touch in my art entirely. Glad you’re enjoying both approaches—it’s all part of the same creative journey!

The Birth of Venus as a Boy

È squisito, ben fatto, maestro! KJ
The expression is priceless. KJ
The eyes, the lips, the face, the torso...and I was surprised by my interest in his nipples. Very well executed. KJ

💃 A Hipster from Elbend [PP]

So, what talents don't you possess? This mix is very nice, with hints of Years And Years and Ottmar Liebert. I can't imagine any visitor listening to this who doesn't end up doing the desk-chair-boogie, while doing so. KJ
I doesn't take much real talent to make AI-assisted art, but I'm still trying to do my best in this field. In every field there are always some tricks and ways to achieve better results 😊

💃 A Hipster from Elbend Animated

Falaerin with my morning tea...yep, that is the best way to begin my day. Love the facial expressiveness, as well as the brilliant work executed with his abdominal muscles. I am not one to ask artists to extend themselves for my pleasure, and if this work was to find its way to your pages sans couture, I would save it for my Sunday morning tea... when it could be savored. Kudos, mon ami. KJ
Unfortunately most of the animation work is done by the AI and I'm just trying to find ways to control it, but since the control is very limited this kind of project is also not very interesting to me since there's not much I can do as an artist here. So I do it from time to time just for fun and see the character move a bit, but unfortunately the level of control is not that great, so I try to focus on other more interesting projects 😅

🦜 The Secret of Monkey Island

Is it even possible to view this image without bouncing back and forth between his eyes and...well, the obvious. Although, the left nipple peeking out at the viewer, as well as his lips, can offer some competition for the aforementioned assets (no, there is no pun intended). KJ
Sounds like quite the Paris-Dakkar rally for the eyes, or in this case Prettyface-Datass 🤣 Thanks KJ!!

🎄 Jiggly Belts

Just what I needed for the holidays... KJ
Thank you so much, KJ! It's an honor that my work brings you joy during the holiday season! :D

🌳 The Twisted Forest

Amtril has been a favorite for many years and this image shows him very well. Merci. KJ
Thank you so much! I wasn't certain which of the elves this could be, but then thought that Amtril would be ideal. He's likely the most flexible of all my elves, given he grew up among gyspies. Elves are normally not motivated to reach their full potential, but gypsies tend to be quite enthusiastic about pushing their bendy boys to the limit!

It's so like him to leave no joint unused when stretching out. The only thing I wish it had is a backstory, but I failed to think of one. Maybe just didn't want to spoil the magical moment that could use a bit of mystery... In any case, so happy you still remember Amtril, guess I better start thinking of new tales featuring him! :D

FleX-Men

Love the image and especially like the under-eye treatment. A painting I commissioned a few years ago was of a boy with this particular feature and I was jazzed when I saw how the artist didn't over look it. Nice work, as usual KJ
Ooh, I'm glad you enjoyed that detail! This character was the first one in this FleX-men series, I liked how he turned out so I thought why not make more? And then I made too many, ahah!

🌳 Forest of the Lost Spines

Very inventive and I did enjoy the story. KJ
Woah! Thank a lot for reading/listening to it! It might be inventive because I gave up on figuring out how to develop the plot, but I'm glad it amused you! :)

🔺 Devil's Toy

A very nice lad. KJ

I have enjoyed your work for many years and yes, I do have favorites, especially Martin, Yasha, Amtril, Faelerin, and Yralan. Would I offer counsel to Matisse or Rembrandt regarding a direction with their art, if they were still among us? No, and I won't interfere with whatever muse is guiding you in your work, for it seems to serve you very well. In whatever direction your work is headed I intend to be there, to enjoy it.

KJ
The image is delightful and the craquelure ties in beautifully with the story. kj
