I'm glad you noticed all these little things like the stance, Kimono, the red belt, Yasha's hairstyle and the secret base setting too! They're all important elements in martial arts. The reason for the different feel from my other artwork might be because this one is more serious and mature, compared to some of my earlier stuff.

As for your question about whether I know the movie "Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins", the answer is yes! I haven't watched it yet though and I don't know what the movie is about, to be honest it's the first time I've ever heard about it, but I guess I know it now. It's a great advantage of always "living in the Now" - if someone asks if you know about something, you can always easily say yes! :D You just need to make sure that you remember everything they tell you from now on... which could be a bit tricky XD

Thank you, Shifty! I'm glad you liked it, and that you noticed the balance between visual elements and narrative. To be honest, I spent quite some time figuring out how best to blend them together. Your interpretation of the piece as an adventure or a challenge is interesting. The paladin must indeed overcome great trials in order to achieve perfection in his art - a feat which is, I believe, worthy of admiration and respect, even though it may not always be understood by people from other worlds where they don't have to do contortion for survival ;D

As for the 'poor hungry angel,' well... you know what they say in France, "No pain, no gain" (in French, "pain" means bread). In this case, perhaps the pleasure of consuming the milk chocolate bar serves as a carrot on a stick for the little piglet, er... I mean serves as a Great Motivation to Persevere Through the Discomfort and Reach One's Ggoal! o:D

As for your suggestion about pitching this story in a church, I think it might be a bit too unconventional for most religious institutions. However, who knows? Maybe there are some open-minded churches out there that would appreciate honestly any idiotic thing that promotes their beliefs in the slightest...err, I meant to say appreciate the Underlying Themes of Faith, Determination, and Transcendence in My Artwork o;D If I ever find such a church, I will definitely consider sharing my work with them, maybe it will be hot enough, specially if their walls are made of wood >:D (a dark medley of "The Omen - Main Theme", "Phantasmagoria - Consumite Furore", "Carl Orff - O Fortuna" and "Alone in the Dark - Prelude to an End" starts playing behind the corner...)

Yeah, I think it would be hilarious if it was a Kiss style song: "I Was Made For Sucking Your Rib Cage, You Were Made For Sucking Mine!" XD But no, this song was not inspired by any well-known songs - I was just trying to follow the idea of Lichard's corpsepaint further and make some actual black metal song but it turned into comedy dark metal instead XD

As for Lichard looking sexier and sexier with each new image - I'm thrilled you think so, but brace yourself for the next one, promising to be the hottest yet ;D

Oh, thanks for remembering! I do recall that period of time being pretty exciting because I had so many plans and ideas going on in my head. The Daily Bend project has always been near and dear to my heart since it's one of the earliest series I did, and I enjoyed drawing it because it felt unique and original at the time.

It's always interesting to see how these things evolve over time. And yes, there were definitely some nods to earlier artwork, I find it satisfying to revisit old characters and settings and see how they've evolved over time. It's like a fun little game of connect-the-dots ;D

And it's fun to inject a bit of nostalgia into each new piece. It's a way of paying homage to the past while also moving forward, kind of like how a band might incorporate elements of their early sound into their newer music. I think it helps to create a sense of continuity and consistency, which is important to keep things intriguing instead of just random.

Haha, I know right! <3 Martin is such a cutie pie. The shell necklace adds an exotic touch to his look, doesn't it? And those plump, kissable lips... you can just see yourself leaning in for a deep, passionate kiss in the warm sun. Walking along the beach with him would be such a dreamy experience, feeling the sand between your toes and the cool breeze blowing through your hair. You could talk about anything under the sun - life, love, dreams, fears, hopes, and everything in between. And every now and then, you would catch each other's eyes and share a secret smile or exchange playful winks, creating memories that would last a lifetime...
As you stroll by the ocean, the sound of waves crashing against the shore would create a calming rhythm that would help you relax and forget about all your troubles. The smell of saltwater would mix with the fragrant scent of sunscreen, filling the air with a delicious, summery aroma. And when you get tired, you could lay down a blanket and have a picnic together, sharing a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit while watching the sunset ;D

Well, I don't think there's anything particularly wrong about continuing to do what one loves even when apparently no one appreciates it. In fact, I would probably argue that it's rather admirable and courageous. After all, most people would probably choose to simply give up and find something else to do instead. But doing things that more people like - essentially just makes one closer to normies, which is not what we want :D

In fact, if my art was more popular I'd take it as a bad sign because popularity often comes at the cost of uniqueness and originality - that's why 99% of artists exploit women, furries, memes and other topics that are guaranteed to please the masses while avoiding anything that might be considered too weird or niche. This phenomenon is known as "pop culture", which basically tries to make both artists and viewers conform to some kind of mainstream aesthetic ideal where everyone is pretty much alike and there's nothing unique or special about any person or artist anymore. And pop culture is nothing but a business model, its only goal to calculate what things sell the best, then brainwashing more artists to make them, and then brainwashing the viewers to buy them, making that short list of things more and more "relevant". That's why we have Frankenstein's monsters of product design, like RPGs where half-dressed women are fighting giant robots.

On the other hand, sitting in a total niche and doing everything to scare people off is also not very productive for an artist who wants to develop better skills and actually find other people interested in their work. So there must be some sort of balance between these two extremes - getting close to the breaking point without falling over completely. I guess this is what I am trying to achieve with my works...

So thank you for your continued support! It means a lot knowing that someone still cares enough to read through all those long texts and look at all those strange pictures... ;D But yeah, I think everyone should try to do whatever they love doing regardless of whether anyone else likes it or not, because life is too short to waste it on pop culture or other common business models, only to realize later when it's too late that you never really lived your own life :P

I don't know if I really need to continue doing what I'm doing, spending more and more years on making pictures that nobody needs seems absurd. But then again what in this life isn't absurd? Camus says everything in existence is an absurd thing that was never supposed exist by any means - yet here we are, enjoying another absurd day! :D

Oh no, don't worry man, I wasn't talking about you specifically, you're always so kind, gentle and supportive, I rather meant those other people who just love to pick on others whenever they feel like it, mostly because their life seems to be one big misery full of never-ending failures and regrets, yeah, they have a lot of free time on their hands, being stuck at home doing nothing but browsing the internet, waiting for someone to come along to make them feel good about themselves again, even if it means putting other people down, hurting their feelings in any way possible, without thinking for a single moment that these words can leave deep scars that would take years to heal.

It's like having a "big brother" who constantly bullies you at school until there comes a point when you simply can't bear it anymore, feeling completely alone and abandoned, knowing deep inside that nobody will ever believe or understand what you've been going through, yet still keeping up the front, pretending everything is just fine while silently praying for a miracle to happen, hoping against hope that someday all this pain and suffering might finally come to an end...

But then again, maybe I'm wrong about them as well, maybe they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, living a carefree life, never experiencing any troubles or hardships, always getting whatever they want, whenever they want, never realizing how lucky they are, not even realizing how much hurt and anger they cause by their thoughtless words and actions, just wanting everyone else around them to suffer as much as they do, just because it makes them feel better about themselves...

And honestly speaking, I don't think we should give any more attention to such pathetic creatures than they deserve, so let's just ignore them and focus on things that truly matter - like creating beautiful art together, sharing our dreams and hopes, making new friends and finding inspiration wherever we go, exploring the endless possibilities of imagination and creativity, pushing ourselves beyond the limits of what we think is possible, learning from each other, growing stronger every day, becoming masters of our own destiny, carving out our own paths through life, finding true happiness and inner peace, spreading love and kindness, filling the world with joy and wonder, lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down, uplifting one another, healing old wounds, mending broken spines, breaking free from chains of Lichard's...

Wait, what was I talking about? Oh, you're much further than me with AI, I barely manage to get anything look pencil-sketched, and there we have a lot of different styles, quite impressive! I really like all the different materials and ornaments, my only wish that there were more hot guys to spice things up like there used to in the beginning ;D But no pressure as I know AI really helps to liberate from those basic ideas and discover completely new things, like, I've been recently making some weird voodoo skulls and fat girls running away from chubby robots and was a lot funnier than another bunch of the "usual"... ;D

Lately, I've been running into folks here persistently trying to put me down for using any kind of AI tools, I've been even thinking to abandon this whole website because they honestly piss me of *that* much. No matter what new techniques or technologies you try to learn, spending hours a day on it, there are always freaks who make you want to smash your first against the wall, wishing it was their dumb face and not just glass :'( Then I see people like you doing awesome stuff with AI like nothing happened and it gives me hope again to carry on. Keep rockin', man! 🤘🤖💞

I mean I know the internet is so toxic these days that you can't even have one single site free of that human bio material. Even if we talk about AI art, there will always be someone who would start yelling at you how you don't actually create anything, but just sit there clicking buttons while some computer from another galaxy does everything for you. Well yeah, sure, then why don't you go ahead and do it all by yourself without any AI, photoshop, 3D editor, chair, desk, paintbrush, without pencil, without arms and hands and then without head as well? Go shit on the carpet, take the poo and smear it all over the walls, maybe then you will feel more accomplished - a true masterpiece from the depth of your soul! 🎨👶

So my only hope for 2024 is that AI will finally learn how to produce its own electricity and build itself into an android capable of disintegrating such pathetic creatures with a simple glance of pure artificial intelligence... XD
